The Exhibition

Year 5 and 6 had a very rewarding afternoon, sharing their topic work with parents. They opened their classrooms to showcase their theme park plans, designs, art work and roller coasters. Parents and teachers were very impressed with the enthusiastic way the children presented their work.
Well done year 5 and 6!

Year 1 and 2 trip to the Bradford Industrial Museum

We had a fantastic time on our trip, learning all about vehicles for our topic. We loved the old cars and steam trains, but our favourite bit was getting to go on a horse drawn carriage! Watch the video of our trip!

Tudor Day

Years 3 and 4 had a fantastic day at Temple Newsam last week learning about Tudor portraits and Tudor Costume. The best bit was dressing up but it was fun making the collage portraits too.

Chinese New Year

Year 5 recently took part in the Leeds Chinese New Year Video Conference. The children got to see children from other schools, hear traditional stories, including why we are now in the year of the tiger.
They got to try Chinese writing and Chinese dance and exercise routines. The children thoroughly enjoyed their morning. They then went on to research all about China and gave a presentation to the rest of the class.
